For Easter I declare a short project. This is doable for mostly anyone, unless you already are a PrixStGeorge rider (TrueKnight), or maybe if you are already blasting forward in your abilities at breakneck- speed. Anyhow.
Lift yourself and your horse a full level!
Do it like this:
Smash your quads every other day. Couch- stretch your quads twice a day. Open up your thoracic- spine every day. Sit on the lacrosse- ball every day.
Ride in the morning. Stretch, loosen, warm up, collect a bit. Done. Use this to diagnose and plan for the next workout! This is a good time for a hack, if that suits your fancy!
Read up on theory in between lessons. Find the next more difficult exercise or find the quality that is limiting you at the moment: schwung? Collection? Practice the quality first; use an exercise you master, and demand more from your body! Do not let it go on routine! You need to pay attention!
